The Minot North softball team erased a four-run deficit with an 11-run sixth inning to come away with a 17-10 victory over Watford City on Tuesday, April 21, at Koeser Field. The Minot High softball team was held to one run on two hits in a pair of losses to defending state champion Williston on Tuesday, April 21, at Williston State College. The Coyotes no-hit the Majettes in the nightcap. The Coyotes needed just three innings to end the opener, scoring 20 runs on 13 hits in a 20-0 victory. The Minot High baseball team outslugged Bismarck High, 15-13, in the opener and won a pitcher’s duel in the nightcap, 5-2, for a doubleheader sweep on Tuesday, April 21, at Sanford Sports Complex. Trailing 13-12 heading into their final at-bat, the Magicians scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning and held the Demons off the board for the first time in the bottom half to complete the comeback.
