Girls Tennis: Sentinels drop match to Legacy 8-1

Addy Clark delivered a victory at No. 1 singles for the Minot North girls tennis team, but Bismarck Legacy won the other five singles matches and swept doubles for an 8-1 victory over the Sentinels on Thursday, April 30, at Sanford Sports Complex. Clark took part in two of the three matches that required a third set. She earned her second consecutive singles victory by rallying past Joya Martian. All eyes were on No. 1 singles during the Minot High girls tennis team’s match against Dickinson on Tuesday, April 28. Minot High’s Kyllie Fettig and Shayna Klizke matched up for the first time since the title match of the WDA Individual Tournament last year. Klizke took home the title with a 6-3, 7-6 (8) victory. One run was all the Minot High baseball team could muster in 14 innings, as Mandan held the Magicians to seven total hits in a doubleheader sweep on Tuesday, April 28, at Corbett Field.
