Preliminary hearings have been set for Oct. 1 in North Central District Court in Minot for Craig Michael Kerzmann, 49, and Sarah Kerzmann, 45, who faces charges of failing to report the corpse of a child and disturbing a human burial site, both Class C felonies. According to the court affidavit, on Aug. 21, the Minot Police Department was contacted by a neighbor of Craig and Sarah Kerzmann, who resided in a Minot mobile home park. Sentenced imposed in ATM attempted theft

A case involving attempted theft from Minot ATM machines has resulted in a 38-day sentence for Yohandri Ortega-Jiminez, 22, no fixed address, according to North Central District Court records. Ortega-Jiminez pleaded guilty to attempted theft of $10,000-$50,000, a Class B felony. He was arrested in June in connection with a series of ATM thefts by multiple individuals in the state, believed to be part of foreign terrorist organization. Stanley receives water infrastructure loans

STANLEY – Stanley has been granted $650,000 in loans from State Revolving Fund programs for phase three of a capital improvement project that includes street reconstruction and watermain and sanitary sewer main replacements to reduce operation and maintenance costs and improve system reliability, according to the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality and the North Dakota Public Finance Authority.
