Several Minot roads will be closed the morning of Saturday, July 20, for the annual North Dakota State Parade.

The parade route will begin from the intersection of 18th Avenue Southwest and South Broadway. It will proceed north to Burdick Expressway, where the route will continue east on Burdick and then through the fairgrounds.

Officers will begin blocking traffic at 8 a.m., starting with South Broadway from 18th Avenue Southwest to Burdick Expressway. At 8:30 a.m. Burdick Expressway East will be blocked to traffic for the duration of the parade. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes.

The parade is preceded by the “Run the Route 5K,” which starts at 8:45 a.m.
