Dissette continues strong run, named to All-State Team
When talking about the accomplishments and accolades regarding Darik Dissette’s prep basketball career, you better have a lot of time available. Even well after his time playing for Minot High has come to an end, he continues to put the finishing touches on his career.
This week, it was announced that Dissette made the Class A Boys Basketball All-State First Team. Already having won Gatorade Player of the Year and North Dakota’s Mr. Basketball, Dissette is having a great couple of weeks and adds to that with the All-State First Team selection.
Joining Dissette on the 2023 Class A Boys Basketball All-State First Team is Alex Dvorak (Dickinson), Ryan Erikson (Century), Jeremiah Sem (Fargo North), and Mason Klabo (Fargo Davies).
Anthony Doppler (Century), James Hamilton (Fargo South), Conner Kraft (Grand Forks Red River), Reis Rowekamp (Grand Forks Red River), Hudsen Sheldon (Mandan), Isiah St. Romain (Williston), and Parker Wallette (Turtle Mountain) were named to the All-State Second Team.
Dvorak, Erikson, and Kraft were all Mr. Basketball finalists. Klabo and Sheldon were the only two sophomores named to the teams.
