With the city election coming soon, it is important for all citizens to be aware of the potential makeup of the Minot city council.
Minot State University may have five employees making decisions in favor of MSU. Five MSU employees can easily influence three others on an issue favorable to MSU (and they already have!). The MSU aldermen are Ward 2 George Withus (candidate), Ward 3 Dean Frantsvog, Ward 4 Rick Hedberg. Ward 5 Tom Seymour and Mayor Chuck Barney.
Such an arrangement cannot be acceptable to the citizens of Minot.
Once again, employees of MSU on the city council are asked to refrain from voting on any issue favoring MSU financially.
