Berry Acres Pumpkin Patch celebrates opening day Saturday
Ashton Gerard/MDN Visitors enjoyed a gentle ride around the Berry Acres Pumpkin Patch Saturday during opening day.
With a slight chill and crispness in the air, many area residents flocked to Berry Acres Pumpkin Patch as they celebrated their opening day Saturday.
Children were climbing on straw bales, going down slides and making their way through corn mazes. Families scoured piles upon piles of pumpkins searching for the perfect carving pumpkin or a warm decoration.
“This is beautiful,” Minot resident Kenya Waller said. “It’s very great for the kids, very family friendly and there’s a lot of room for the kids to run.”
Waller, originally from Georgia, has been in Minot for three years and went to Berry Acres for the first time on Saturday with her children.
“There’s pumpkins everywhere so I know fall is here,” she said with a laugh.
