Roosevelt Park Pool opens for season June 5
The Minot Park District has announced Roosevelt Park Pool will officially open for the 2026 summer season on Friday, June 5.
Following a summer closure last year, the Minot Park District is eager to welcome patrons back to one of Minot’s favorite summer destinations, according to Minot Parks information.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome our patrons back to Roosevelt Park Pool after last summer’s disappointing closure,” Elly DesLauriers, executive director of the Minot Park District, said. “Our staff has been working hard to prepare for the season, and we look forward to providing a fun, safe and enjoyable experience for families and visitors all summer long.”
Pool hours will see a slight adjustment this season. The pool will be open seven days a week from noon-8 p.m., eliminating the evening break previously scheduled during the day. The updated schedule allows for expanded continuous swim time and greater flexibility for visitors throughout the summer.
Children 5 and younger are free. Season passes can be purchased online at minotparks.com.
As construction on MI-6 and MI-7 continues within Roosevelt Park, patrons are encouraged to review the updated park navigation map before visiting. The map is designed to help visitors safely and easily access the pool and surrounding amenities during ongoing construction activities. The map can be found at minotparks.com or on the Minot Parks social media.
