Game and Fish volunteers recognized

Volunteer instructors for the North Dakota Game and Fish Department were recognized at the annual event in Bismarck.

Those from the local area recognized included Wayne Stanley, Minot, Hunter Education Instructor of the Year, and Daryl Simmons, Garrison, 30–year service award.

Recognized for 25 years of service were Clint Baxter and Mark Hunt of Minot and Marty Liesener of Ray. Honored for 20 years of service were Adnan Aldayel, New Rockford; Harry Capaci, Jeremy Haugen and Wayne Stanley, all Minot; and Corinne Engen, Anamoose.

Fifteen-year service awards went to Rick Tischaefer, Butte; Justin Hughes, Minot; and Charles Wilkinson, Garrison.

Melanie Nelson of Harvey was recognized for 10 years as an active instructor.Two-year active instructor recognition went to Bryton Allard, Williston; Julie Eidemiller, Burlington; Cory Geiszler, Rugby; Kellen Latendresse, David Randall and Kirk Sather, all Minot; and John Reimche, Bottineau.
