The Minot High boys golf team accomplished something in the first week of the season that it wasn’t able to do all of last season: win a tournament. The Magicians shot a team score of 306 and captured the Century-Legacy Invite title at Tom O’Leary Golf Course on Saturday, April 11, in the first tournament of the season. It’s been nearly five years since the Minot High girls soccer team was on the wrong side of the scoreboard during a regular-season match. That streak ended on Saturday, April 11, as Mandan won the battle of last year’s state title match with a 1-0 victory over the Majettes at Starion Sports Complex in Bismarck.
