Minot High senior Sophia Lade ran a season-best time of 2 minutes, 22.01 seconds to win the 800 meters as the Majettes finished fifth overall with a score of 86 at the BPS River City Invite on Tuesday, April 21, at the MDU Resources Community Bowl. Lade finished a half-second ahead of Bismarck St. Mary’s Ella Selensky, who ran a 2:22.51. Bismarck High’s Bryar Jahner was third with a time of 2:22.79. The Minot North softball team erased a four-run deficit with an 11-run sixth inning to come away with a 17-10 victory over Watford City on Tuesday, April 21, at Koeser Field.
