The Minot High girls soccer team peppered Bismarck High goaltender Gabby Bruer to the tune of 22 shots on goal. Bruer stopped all but one, and thankfully for the Majettes, one was all they needed. Jayva McKibben scored the lone goal of the match in the 52nd minute to propel Minot High to a 1-0 victory over Bismarck High on Tuesday, May 19, at Sanford Sports Complex. The Minot High boys golf team continued its torrid run through the regular season, capturing the Bakken Classic with a team score of 292 on Tuesday, May 19, at The Links of North Dakota in Williston. It was the Magicians’ sixth tournament title of the year and secured them the WDA regular season championship.
