A respectful reminder

In a recent letter to the editor, complaining about property taxes, Dean Somerville asked who represents the Minot taxpayer. To clarify, I would respectfully remind him that I was the only one of seven on the City Council who voted against the final version of the city budget. I did so in the belief that it did not adequately represent the priorities of our community or balance our needs with our resources.
