I am grateful for Senator Heitkamp’s fight for bipartisan, serious, tax reform that would not explode the national debt by close to 1.5 trillion dollars. And, I am proud she fought to make the income tax reductions for middle class families permanent – just as the corporate tax reductions will be. That only seems fair to me.
A bipartisan approach could also have paved the way to address our serious infrastructure failures. Now, I wonder where that funding will come from?
As a business person I appreciate Senator Heitkamp’s efforts to continually look for bipartisanship and her vision for a better future for all.
