John Thorenson

JAMESTOWN John Thorenson, 68, Jamestown, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, in his stepdaughter’s home in Jamestown.

He was born Oct. 26, 1946, to George and Olivia Thorenson, in Minot. He was once married to Beverly Kamrud. He married Eunice Bedker-Baumgartner Oct. 18, 1986, in Jamestown.

Survivors: wife; daughter, Melissa Thorenson, Bismarck; son, Daniel, Independence, Kan.; stepdaughter, Mona Rudland, Jamestown; stepsons, Wade Baumgartner, Forrest, Va., Stewart Baumgartner and Daron Baumgartner, both Jamestown; 22 grandchildren; 22 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Jordiene Larson, Souris, and Janice Bowman, Westhope.

Celebration of life service: 10 a.m. today in Victory Lutheran Brethren Church, Jamestown.
