On Thursday, Oct. 15, Justice Mark Friese met virtually with students in Danna Arquisola’s Senior Government class at New Town High School to discuss the role and function of the North Dakota Supreme Court. Students learned how the N.D. Supreme Court differs from the United States Supreme Court, how justices analyze cases using existing case law and the state and federal constitutions, and how state courts interact with law enforcement and the public.
