ND Sober Ride provides safe transportation
BISMARCK – North Dakotans took advantage of free Lyft rides through ND Sober Ride during the St. Patrick’s Day weekend in March.
According to a release from the North Dakota Department of Transportation, 126 Lyft rides were provided through the initiative which sought to prevent impaired driving and promote road safety. ND Sober Ride is sponsored by AAA-The Auto Club Group of North Dakota.
“Using ND Sober Ride isn’t just a convenience — it’s a commitment to keeping yourself and others safe,” said Lauren Wahlman, N.D. Department of Transportation’s safety public information program manager. “When the celebration ends, let ND Sober Ride be your designated driver.”
