BURLINGTON – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the name of the victim of a fatal crash that occurred near Burlington Sunday, June 21.

Larry Jones, 84, Burlington, driver of a Subaru Forester, died in the crash.

Candice Wenger, 68, Tioga, driver of a Dodge Ram 1500, was seriously injured.

According to the Highway Patrol, the Subaru was going east on Highway 2, one mile west of Burlington, when it crossed the median, entered the westbound lanes, continued east and struck the Dodge Ram head-on.
