Construction work on Broadway between Burdick Expressway and 20th Avenue South is scheduled to begin Monday.

The project began last summer, but some work was rescheduled for this spring after unusually wet weather in the fall delayed completion of the project. It includes replacing damaged concrete panels and placing new curb and gutter in multiple locations, in addition to grinding concrete surfaces in several areas.

Minot City Engineer Lance Meyer said the work hasn’t started yet because contractors have been waiting for overnight temperatures to remain above freezing. The work is anticipated to be completed in three weeks.

“We appreciate the public’s patience as we finish this necessary work on Minot’s busiest stretch of roadway,” Meyer said. “We want to remind drivers to be vigilant and drive safely through these zones, as crews are often working close to traffic.”
