Red Eagle sentenced to prison for delivery of oxycodone
Michelle Red Eagle, 27, was sentenced on Thursday to five years in prison, with all but two years suspended, and 18 months of supervised probation for dealing oxycodone in Minot in December 2017.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, Red Eagle sold 10 oxycodone tablets for $600 to a confidential informant working with the Ward County Narcotics Task Force. She was not charged until Aug. 23, 2018, nearly nine months after she sold the drugs, and she did not make an initial appearance in court on the charge until February, 14 months after the incident.
North Central District Court Judge Richard Hagar also ordered Red Eagle to pay $480 in restitution and $775 in court costs.
