Minot man accused of burglarizing Dakota Strategies

A 19-year-old Minot man is accused of burglarizing Dakota Strategies in Minot on Aug. 15, 2017.

Thomas David Vera III is charged with Class C felony burglary in district court in Minot. He made an initial appearance on the charge on Friday before Judge Todd Cresap.

The owner of the business told police that two laptops, a blue digital Canon Camera, a dark blue acoustic electric guitar and $110 were stolen from the business.

Vera and three minor boys allegedly burglarized the business. One of the younger boys admitted to stealing the property from the business. Vera told police that the group only wanted to enter the business so they could go on the roof for the view. He claimed they went in through an unlocked door.
