The Otto Bremer Trust awarded more than $12.9 million in grants to organizations in North Dakota, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota and Wisconsin in February and March.

The Otto Bremer Trust is a private charitable trust that supports organizations that enhance the quality of life for area residents.

Area organizations that received grants include Cankdeska Cikana Community College in Fort Totten, $100,000; Companions for Children in Minot, $35,000; and Tri-County Senior Meals and Services of Rugby, $50,000.
