Twice Blessed campaign reaches 11 counties
Kim Fundingsland/MDN Shelly Weppler, president of the St. Joseph’s Community Health Foundation, spoke at a press conference this week unveiling the group’s “Twice Blessed” campaign. Looking on is Rick Beall, chairman, Board of Directors.
All donations up to $5,000 will double. That’s the message from the St. Joseph’s Community Health Foundation.
The foundation announced the kick-off of their “Twice Blessed” campaign this week. In short, SJCHF will match any contributions made to participating non-profit organizations between now and December 31st. That means donor dollars will be doubled up to the $5,000 limit per organization.
“We are going to give out over $100,000 in grant funds to organizations and have that matched by contributors,” said Shelly Weppler, SJCHF president. “We hope that many more dollars are raised so that they get more dollars to do the good things that they do.”
Two long-time recipients of SJCHF dollars, the Minot YWCA and Minot Area Homeless Coalition, have been notified they are eligible for up to $20,000 in matching funds. Donating is easy, said Weppler, by simply logging on at twiceblessednd.com and choosing which organization you prefer to target with your contribution.
“It’s a great way to double the impact of your gift,” said Weppler.
The SJCHF serves the counties of Bottineau, Burke, McHenry, McLean, Mountrail, Pierce, Renville, Rolette, Sheridan, Ward and Wells.
