Minot City Council

When: Monday, 4:45 p.m.

Where: Minot City Hall, council chambers, 10 3rd Ave. SW

Agenda: The council will meet in executive session to discuss negotiating strategy for two potential land purchases. At 5:30 p.m. the council will meet in regular session. The council will receive a presentation on analysis of the fire and police departments and consider adoption of housing needs and market assessment study, purchase of a used fire engine and police vehicles, a wayfinding sign agreement with the state and planning commission recommendations.

How to make your opinion known: Meetings are open to the public. Council members are Mayor Tom Ross, Paul Pitner, Stephan Podrygula, Lisa Olson, Carrie Evans, Mark Jantzer and Scott Burlingame.

Ward County Commission

When: Tuesday, 9 a.m.

Where: Ward County Administration Building, commission chambers

Agenda: The commission will discuss building rules of conduct, the Galusha Ranch Paving District bids, an ARPA update and U.S. Highway 52 stakeholder working group. The Sheriff’s Department is requesting purchase of a mass casualty trailer. The Highway Department is seeking approval of annual materials and services purchases and an agreement on sale of Rice Lake lots.

Minot Park Board

When: Tuesday, 5:30 p.m.

Where: Minot Municipal Auditorium, Community Room 203

Agenda: The board will discuss an event trailer, indoor facility update and bid openings on parking lot paving at the Auditorium and Bison Trail and a maintenance truck.

How to make your opinion known: Meetings are open to the public. Members are President Justin Hammer, Ken Kitzman, Mike Schmitt, Perry Olson and Cliff Hovda.
