Finken elected to ND Dry Pea & Lentil Council

In April, Bob Finken, of Douglas, was elected to District III and will serve his first term on the ND Dry Pea & Lentil Council representing pulse producers in north central North Dakota.

Finken took over the family farm right out of high school due to his father’s illness and disabilities. This year, 2021 will be Finken’s 44th crop year that he has been farming. Finken a fourth-generation farmer, farms with his wife, DeAnne, and his two grown children, Dylan and Holly, and their families, on his centennial farm started by his great-grandfather in 1916.

Additional members of the Council serving with Finken are Kim Saueressig-Chairman, McClusky; Kevin Wolsky-Vice Chair, Carrington; Jeremy Huether, Mott; and Scott Sova, Noonan.
