Siding donated to Habitat for Humanity

Minot Builders Supply has donated house siding to Habitat for Humanity. The donation replaces siding that was designated for use on a home under construction but was missing from its storage location.

“The siding we had acquired for our current home construction, was found stolen in early August,” said Roxy Volk, executive director. “We’re working with local law enforcement to investigate who would take such large sized items.”

Minot Builders Supply reached out to Habitat for Humanity, Northern Lights affiliate to let them know they wanted to make a donation. When Volk arrived at their office, she learned they were willing to provide the siding for the new home.

“Minot Builders Supply is donating enough LP Smartside lap siding to cover the four-bedroom, split-level home we have under construction at 500 12th Street NE,” said Volk. “We are so thankful to live and work in such a great community like Minot. The businesses and volunteers are hands down the best in the state.”
