The Hot Tots fell to the Willmar Stingers 9-14 during their Tuesday, August 5 away game in Willmar, MN.

The Hot Tots were down 6-13 as they headed into the top of the seventh inning. Minot’s only run of the inning came while bases were loaded. Joseph Mrowiec was walked on his sixth pitch to bring Rowan Felsch home. Andrew Marquis struck out swinging during the very next at bat to end the inning before Minot could earn any more runs.

The Stingers were unable to widen the gap during the bottom of the seventh. The Hot Tots next scored in the top of the eighth when Rowan Felsch hit an RBI single into left field to bring Zach Doyle to home base. Blake Cavill scored the next and last run of the inning off of a walk earned by Justin Rumfield. The Stingers were able to earn another run in the bottom of the eighth with a double into right field by Armani Guzman.

The score was 9-14 for the Stingers heading into the top of the ninth. Minot was not able to earn a run in the ninth inning, losing them the game 9-14 for their last bout against the Stingers in the 2025 regular season.
