Pair of Magi highlight Class A Baseball All-State Team

The Class A baseball season came to an end over the course of last weekend, which saw the West Fargo Sheyenne Mustangs win their third state title in a row.

Despite not qualifying for the state tournament, a pair of Minot High athletes were honored on Tuesday by being named to the 2023 Class A Baseball All-State Team, giving them some final accomplishments from this season.

Sophomore Kellan Burke and senior Morgan Nygaard were the pair that represented Minot High on the All-State Team, wrapping up a very successful season for both of them.

In addition to Burke and Nygaard, here is the rest of the 2023 Class A Baseball All-State Team: Caleb Anderson (West Fargo), Cole Barta (Grand Forks Central), Jadon Bast (Dickinson), Caleb Duerr (West Fargo Sheyenne), Kadin Finders (Williston), Jace Groseclose (Bismarck), Payton Hochhalter (Jamestown), Connor Holm (Fargo North), Charlie Kalbrener (Fargo North), Caden Kappes (Wahpeton), Jace Kovash (Dickinson), Tommy Kraljic (St. Mary’s), Adam Leininger (Shanley), Jordan Leininger (Shanley), Mason Lunzman (Jamestown), Trey Stocker (West Fargo Sheyenne), Lucas Vasey (Legacy).

Additionally, Mason Lunzman of Jamestown was named the NDHSCA POWERade Outstanding Senior Athlete and Andrew Lunsetter of Wahpeton was named the NDHSCA SUBWAY Coach of the Year.
