Beavers men’s hockey adds game against Williston State
The Minot State men’s hockey team has added a game to their schedule for this weekend, as the Beavers will skate Saturday night taking on Williston State College.
Puck drops at 7:35 p.m. for the single game between the two North Dakota schools with the action at the Agri-Sports Complex in Williston.
The No. 2 Beavers (4-0-0 overall) head into the game with plenty of momentum after a weekend sweep of No. 3 Liberty, beating the Flames 6-4 and 5-2 at Maysa Arena in Minot on Friday and Saturday.
As for the Tetons, they had a hugely successful opening weekend of their own as they routed Minnesota State Moorhead, 27-0 and 14-0 Oct. 15-16.
The quick in-state battle will provide an opportunity for the Beavers to keep their game sharp before they host a big weekend against Big 10-foe the University of Illinois at Maysa Arena Nov. 5-6.
