Opiate overdose awareness needed

Georgia R. Krein, Burlington I work with opiate abuse disorder clients. The number of fatal and non-fatal opiate overdoses in Minot and the surrounding area is phenomenal. There are many organizations working on opiate awareness, yet I feel overdoses are minimized or ignored in the news. I appreciate reading an obituary where the family has identified the lost loved one as having an opiate disorder. Michael and Rachel Axness, Des Lacs We are Rachel & Michael Axness from Des Lacs, ND; we attended Rinat Mouzafarov’s Institute of Dance & Ballet “A very Merry Christmas” production last weekend in Central Campus. What a wonderful experience that was had by all!!! Rinat did a marvelous job with all of the young entertainers in tune with the Christmas season in song and dance!!! All of the young entertainers obviously loved their Gifts of dance and choreography, and wore full warm smiles for all of us to see! Highway 52 safety is priority

Walter Piehl, Minot I was surprised by all the comments, personally, on line and by telephone, endorsing my letter to the Editor, Minot Daily News, 12/10/22 regarding the bandaid solution to Highway 52’s dangerous traffic.
