Jill Roloff, 57, Minot, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022 in a Minot nursing home.
Jill Colleen Roloff was born on January 9, 1965, the daughter of Herman and Betty (Weeks) Roloff at Trinity Hospital in Minot, ND. She was raised and educated in the Burlington area, and graduated in 1983 from Des Lacs-Burlington High School. Jill furthered her education by attending Minot State University.
Jill worked a few jobs before finding her true calling as an administrative assistant. She worked in the oil industry in human resources most of her career. Although some of her duties were new to her, she studied and learned until she was proficient in her skills. She was not only respected by her co-workers, but became good friends to many. At the time of her death, she was employed by the City of Minot in the human resource department.
Outside of work, Jill’s camera was often by her side. In her drive to learn more about photography, she joined the Minot Camera Club. She was recognized there for her talent, as well as winning many ribbons at the State Fair. Her love of nature provided her subjects and with her photos, she created beautiful greeting cards. Jill was a vendor with her cards at as many local craft shows that her time and health allowed. She enjoyed sharing her talent as well as interacting with customers.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Minot.

Her mother Betty; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Jill was preceded in death by her father Herman, grandparents, cousins Stanley, Jerome, Peggy, Jane and longtime friend Susan Tremont
Visitation: Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 4 until 7 pm at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, and Friday one hour prior to the service at the church.
Funeral Service: Friday, November 4, 2022 at 10 am at Zion Lutheran Church, Minot
Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Zion Lutheran Church, Minot, Parkinson’s Foundation, Alzheimer’s Foundation, and the Dementia Foundation.
