Garrison Rural Water receives loan

BISMARCK – Garrison Rural Water District received a $396,000 Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan to construct a new pump station and 125,000 gallon tank to address low water pressure and allow the water system to handle current peak demands, according to the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality.

The NDDEQ and the North Dakota Public Finance Authority awarded eight loans in February and March to support critical water infrastructure.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency provides part of the State Revolving Loan programs’ funding, which offers below-market interest rate loans to political subdivisions for financing projects authorized under the Clean Water Act and Safe Drinking Water Act.

Starting at $2.99/week.
