Mass of Christian Buri-

am Friday, September 21,
at Cathedral of the Holy
Spirit, 519 Raymond St.,
Bismarck, with Rev. Aus-
tin Vetter officiating.
Burial will be held at
1:00 pm Friday at the
North Dakota Veterans
Cemetery, Mandan.
A time of gathering will
be held from 6:00 pm –
7:00 pm Thursday, Sep-
tember 20, at Eastgate
Funeral Service, 2302 E.
Divide Ave., Bismarck,
where a vigil service will
begin at 7:00 pm.
Bob was born February
23, 1948, to John and
Magdalena (Jacob) Houn
in Linton, ND. He was
raised near Kintyre, ND.
He attended and graduat-
ed high school in Linton,
ND, and college at the ND
State School of Science in
Wahpeton, ND. Bob en-
tered the US Army in
1967 and served in the
Vietnam War from June
1968 to June 1969. He
married Marion Kaseman
on Oct. 25, 1969. They
had three children togeth-er, Corey, Jodey, and
Sheena. Bob later married
Becky Brodell of Minot,
ND, in 2000. Bob spent
the last 17 years living in
the Minneapolis area
where he enjoyed doing
handyman work.
He is survived by: his
children, Corey (Kristina)
Houn, Green Bay, WI,
Jodey Houn, Bismarck,
ND, and Sheena (Dennis)
Hogan, Mansfield, Texas;
along with grandchildren,
Sawyer, Aiden, Elliot, So-
phia, Carter Houn, Bennet
Hogan.
Bob was preceded in
death by: his parents;
three brothers, Joe, Paul,
and Kasper; and sister,
Martha.
