Minot Police investigates bomb threat

According to Minot Police Department, this afternoon, at approximately 1:06 p.m., Minot Central Dispatch received a bomb threat targeting the Minot Walmart. Minot Police officers responded immediately and worked with Walmart Asset Protection to conduct a search of the building. No suspicious items or devices were located during the search. During the investigation, it was identified that at least six other Walmart stores in Texas and Florida had received similar threats, indicating this was not an isolated incident. The investigation remains ongoing.
