School board reorganizes, adopts policies

Scott Louser was selected as president of the Minot School Board during a reorganizational meeting that seated new member Matt Bianco on Thursday, July 9. Lacey Laudenschlager was selected as vice president of the board. The board also adopted policies for use of therapy and service dogs in the schools and the use of animals for educational purposes. ND United Foundation BISMARCK – The North Dakota United Foundation has announced Minot residents who will share in the distribution of more than $75,000 in scholarships to dozens of educators, public servants and students this year. Each recipient received an award ranging from $200 to $6,000. The 2026 recipients from Minot are Daniel Franco, Jessica Kesler, Megan Swenson and Greg Vettel.
