Utah Tech University
ST. GEORGE, Utah – Adeline Campbell of Surrey was among students named to the spring 2026 semester President’s List at Utah Tech University. To qualify, students had to attain a semester grade point average of 3.9 or higher and complete at least 15 credits
North Dakota State University
FARGO – Jaelynn Zarr, daughter of Jeremy and Amber Zarr of Minot, and Kylee Heer, daughter of Chad and Amy Heer of Douglas, along with Hattie Heer, daughter of Brooks and Cassie Heer of Douglas, have received NDSU Green and Gold Scholarships for North Dakota residents with high academic achievement. All will attend NDSU this fall to major in nursing, and Hattie Heer also plans to pursue a minor in entrepreneurship.
North Dakota State College of Science
WAHPETON – North Dakota State College of Science has announced its President’s Honor Roll for the spring 2026 semester. This distinction is awarded to students who have earned a 3.5 grade point average or higher while completing 12 or more credits with traditional letter grades. The honorees include: Clay Fegley, Berthold; Hayden Bohl, Peter Bwalya Mwaume Chileshe, Cierra Erickson, Nicholas Hynson and Dillon Maxim, all Minot; and Finley Olson, Velva.
University of Maryland Global Campus
ADELPHI, Md. – Area students were named to the University of Maryland Global Campus Dean’s List for the spring 2026 term. To be eligible for the honor, a student must complete at least six credits during the term, earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the term, and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC.

Dickinson State University
DICKINSON – Aric Winczewski and Anne Fricke of Minot and Claire Fegley of Berthold were among students awarded the Recognition of Excellence in Communication at Dickinson State University. The recognition is awarded to students in all disciplines who have demonstrated a high level of achievement in communication-related courses. Specifically, it is awarded to students who have earned an A or B grade in College Composition I and IIand Fundamentals of Public Speaking over the course of their collegiate career. This recognition can be verified by employers who are looking for workers with good written and spoken communication skills.
University of Alabama
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Benjamin Harris of Minot was named to the Dean’s List at the University of Alabama for the 2026 spring semester. To earn a spot on the Dean’s List, students must have a grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale or higher.
Valley City State University
VALLEY CITY – Valley City State University has named area students to its honor rolls.
The President’s Honor Roll recognizes students who completed 12 semester hours or more of VCSU classes for which grade points are earned with a 4.0 grade point average. The Dean’s Honor Roll recognizes students who complete 12 semester hours or more of VCSU classes for which grade points are earned with at least a 3.50 average. The Honor Roll recognizes students who completed 6 to 11 semester hours of VCSU classes for which grade points are earned with a grade point average of at least 3.50.
The President’s Honor Roll includes Elizabeth Vrieze of Carpio; Sophie Bachmeier of Glenburn; Cody Frounfelter of Granville; Kara Pranzo, Logan Rist and MacKenzie Rist, all of Minot; and Allara Marsh and Amanda Vierley of Velva.
The Dean’s Honor Roll includes Grechen Deaver of Berthold: Megan Lahtonen of Glenburn; Andrew Winczewski and Owen Zarr, both of Minot; and Bradyn Bossert and Madeline Schwan, both of Velva.
