WILLISTON – Seventeen young women from across North Dakota will compete for more than $40,000 in scholarships and the title of Miss North Dakota 2025 this week. Winners will be crowned on Saturday June 7, in the pageant that begins Wednesday at the Bakken Auditorium in Williston.

State titleholders will advance to the Miss America and Miss America’s Teen Pageant in January 2026.

This is the 77th year for the Miss ND pageant and the 38th year that Williston has hosted the competition. This is also the 31st year of the Teen Competition.

Current title holders are Miss North Dakota Sophia Richards of Hope and Miss North Dakota Teen Taylor Christianson, from Burlington. They will be passing their crowns this weekend to one of the following contestants.
