Units sought for July 4th parade

The Minot Masonic Center and its appendant organizations in cooperation with the Minot Park District and Minot Fireworks Association will host a parade on July 4.

Organizations that would like to participate in the parade are being sought. There is no fee for parade units.

On July 4, units will begin lining up at 8 a.m. and must be in place by 8:45 a.m. Units will line up at 25th Street Northwest, north of Central Avenue near the Home Church of Minot. The start location will be the corner of 25th Street Northwest and Fourth Avenue Northwest.

The parade will start at 9 a.m., following a route from the start location, east on Fourth Avenue Northwest and ending at the intersection of Third Avenue Northwest and Sixth Street Northwest.

For information on entering a parade unit, contact Minot Shrine Club President Shaun Lewellyn or the organization’s office.

The Minot Shrine Club is the local representative body of Shriners International and an appendant organization of the Minot Masonic Center
