Ward County 4-H Achievement Days start Monday
The 91st annual Ward Couty Achievement Days will be held at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds starting Monday and running through Thursday. 4-H members, ages five to 18, will showcase the skills they have been practicing over the last year.
On Wednesday the Expo Building will host the all-day Livestock Show which ends with Round Robin, where the top two placers of each showmanship class can compete. Livestock include swine, sheep, dairy and meat goats, and beef and dairy cattle.
Thursday morning is dedicated to the Rabbit and Poultry Show in the Expo Building, with the Ag Olympics beginning at 2 p.m. in the same place. At 4:30 p.m., will be the 4-H Friends and Family Barbecue and Awards Program in FFA Hall. Events will be wrapped up with the Pee Wee Pig Show in the Expo Building at 7 p.m. and the Livestock Premium Sale at 7:30 p.m.
All shows and exhibit halls are free and open to the public.

- Demy Braaten, a member of the Cloverbuds, poses with her drawing at last year’s Achievement Days 90th anniversary. The Cloverbuds, the youngest 4-H members, are ages five to seven.
- Gage Schenfisch will bring his dog out to show on Tuesday.
