Phone outage disrupts 911 service
A phone outage affected dispatch centers across the state early Monday, including Minot Central Dispatch. Vesta/Motorola Solutions and other statewide agencies worked to have 911 calls restored by mid-morning.
Minot’s 911 calls were routed to Williston dispatch during the disruption, and non-emergency callers were directed to a different phone line or a website.
