Members of the Minot Prairie Quilt Guild gathered at Vincent United Methodist Church in Minot on Oct. 2 for a full day of sewing on quilts for community service.

Through a grant from St. Joseph’s Community Health Foundation, the quilt guild was able to purchase an Accuquilt, which cuts fabric.

The Accuquilt did the majority of the fabric cutting to create the quilts the quilt guild members worked on that day.

To date, the quilt guild has donated 23 quilts to organizations and individuals.

Marsha Yoder and Alicia Cross are chairs of the quilt guild’s Community Service Committee.
