Pedestrian injured in Monday crash identified
PARSHALL – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified a pedestrian seriously injured after being stuck twice by vehicles Monday on N.D. Highway 23 as Shulton Royce Heart, 49, Parshall.
Heart had been transported by ambulance to Trinity Hospital in Minot.
The incident occurred about 5:30 a.m. three miles northeast of Parshall.
According to a North Dakota Highway Patrol report, both vehicles involved were traveling west on ND 23 and Heart was walking west on the center line of the highway.
A 2019 Ford F450 driven by a Arnold Aga, 60, Granville, struck Heart with the left mirror, knocking him down. A 2003 Nissan Murano driven by Jeffrey Hanah, 58, Minot, drove over the pedestrian as he laid on the roadway.
