Kyler Berdahl charged with felony trespass, misdemeanor assault
Kyler Thomas Berdahl, 21, is accused of trespassing at a relative’s house in Minot and hurting a relative’s leg when he kicked in her door during an argument on Wednesday.
The woman told police that fentanyl use might have been a factor in the incident, according to statements made during Berdahl’s initial appearance in district court in Minot on Thursday and a probable cause affidavit filed with the court.
Berdahl is charged with Class C felony criminal trespass and Class B misdemeanor domestic violence causing bodily injury.
Judge Richard Hagar set bond at $5,000 cash or corporate surety and ordered Berdahl to have no contact with the woman.
