Tank leak causes brine release near Keene
KEENE – The release of 250 barrels of brine at a well near Keene on Wednesday was caused by a tank leak.
The North Dakota Oil and Gas Division was notified the same day of the release at the CMNU D-407X well, about 10 miles north of Keene.
Petro-Hunt, L.L.C. reported the product was contained within dikes on-site.
A state inspector has been to the location and will monitor cleanup.
