Public information meetings for two bridge-replacement phases of the Mouse River Enhanced Flood Protection Project have been scheduled.

The Souris River Joint Board will hold an open house that will include a formal presentation by project engineers. The meetings will provide information to neighborhood property owners and community members regarding the current design plans, potential traffic impacts and proposed detour routes, and information about what the community can expect as the project progresses.

The meeting on the Phase VE-1 Velva Bridge Replacement will be March 23 at 6:30 p.m. in the Verendrye Electric meeting room, 615 Highway 2 W., in Velva. The formal presentation begins at 7 p.m.

The meeting on the Phase RC-1 Mouse River Park Bridge Replacement will be March 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the Renville County Courthouse Community Room, 205 Main St. E., in Mohall. The formal presentation begins at 7 p.m.
