A Bottineau couple are the parents of the first baby born in 2020 at Trinity Hospital in Minot.

The baby boy, named Clark, is Meghan and Joe Kjelshus’ fourth child. He was born at 9:40 a.m. on Wednesday, weighing 6 pounds, 13 ounces, a Trinity official said. Dr. Heather Bedell is the ob/gyn doctor.

The New Year’s baby arrived in Trinity Hospital’s Labor & Delivery Unit just 15 minutes before another baby was born that morning.
