Event provides resources for local veterans
Eloise Ogden/MDN The eighth annual North Central Veterans Stand Down was held on Thursday at the Armed Forces Reserve Center in Minot. Held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., as of 1 p.m. 185 veterans had registered. Many spouses also attended. Nearly 50 resource booths representing various agencies and organizations were available to provide assistance to those attending. A meal catered by Homesteaders Restaurant was served.
