Minot City Council

Agenda: The council will consider asking Congress to extend the National Disaster Resilience project deadline of September 2022 by three years; extending the second penny of sales tax; bid awards for structure demolitions, police patrol vehicles and sewer rehabilitation; a one-year extension of the Swanson & Warcup agreement for flood buyout acquisitions involving eminent domain; the authorization of state Flex PACE program documents for Blu on Broadway; an abatement request on vacant properties in southwest Minot; and relocating utilities in the Maple Diversion area. It will discuss flood storage and eco-restoration projects and strategic planning as part of the NDR program. The council will meet in executive session to discuss the city manager contract.
