Briggs spoke at the suicide prevention storytellers event held at Minot Air Force Base on Sept. 26. He is the founder and CEO of Pivotal Points, an organization that aims to educate and speak about crisis management, suicide prevention and mental health awareness. To highlight suicide prevention and mental health awareness, Minot AFB hosted the suicide prevention storytellers event for National Suicide Prevention Month.
