The Minot Police Department is actively investigating a shooting at a southwest Minot mobile park which occurred Wednesday evening.

Responding officers determined the suspect approached the victim, an 18-year-old male, in a vehicle and confronted him before firing one shot toward the victim, striking a parked vehicle in a driveway. The suspect fled the area. No one was injured during the incident. No reason for the confrontation has been determined but investigators believe the victim and the suspect knew each other.
